The extreme landfalling date events had less frequency in the 1970s and the 2000s. The extreme maximum wind and minimum pressure events had the highest frequency in the 2000s. The extreme precipitation duration events had the highest frequency in the 1970s, and the extreme strong wind duration events had the maximum frequency in the 1980s. The number of stations whereat the extreme maximum daily precipitation or process precipitation were observed, was the largest in the 1960s, and the number of stations whereat daily maximum wind speed events were observed, was the largest in the 1980s. %U http://www.climatechange.cn/EN/abstract/article_679.shtml
